Paul continues to pursue the statement he’s made in chapter 1, verse 18 about the wrath of God. This section contains references to the Old Testament that we aren’t as familiar with as his original audience would have been. Paul also uses a style of arguing that we don’t employ often today. his summary statements are clear.
