In our study this week, we see the grief of both Peter and Judas side by side. Judas handles his remorse in all the ways that we consider to be conscientious and mature, yet still went and hanged himself. Peter responds only by tears, yet is restored and has the privilege of preaching the first public sermon after the ascension of Christ. Why are their outcomes so different? What's the missing ingredient?
This is a verse by verse study through the Gospel of Matthew.
Matthew 26:69-75, Matthew 27:1-10
